Cancellation & Refund Policy

This policy applies to Camera Point Knowledge Centre courses and educational events paid for through ARG & Associates, the billing partner. Review it alongside your confirmed programme or event offer and our Terms of Use before paying.

When CPKC rejects a course application

If CPKC rejects an application for the Photography Foundation & Certificate Pathway before the selected batch starts, the full LKR 145,000 course fee is refundable, subject to confirmed receipt of the original payment. A credit note or transfer does not replace this approved full-refund entitlement. Finance initiates the refund under the required financial approval process; this decision is separate from a customer’s cancellation.

Customer cancellation before a course or event starts

• Customer cancellation received at least seven calendar days before the confirmed course or event start: full refund.
• Customer cancellation received fewer than seven calendar days before the start, but before delivery begins: 50% refund, or a one-time transfer to an available future intake or event by agreement.

After learning or service delivery begins

After a course begins or digital learning content has been accessed, change-of-mind refunds are not normally available for services already delivered. Exceptional circumstances and refunds for undelivered services will be assessed individually.

Provider cancellation or undelivered services

If the provider cancels a course or event before delivery, or cannot provide the purchased service, you may choose a full refund or an agreed alternative. If only part of a service has been delivered, the undelivered portion will be refunded proportionately where you do not accept an alternative.

Duplicate payments and payment errors

Verified duplicate payments and payments taken in error will be refunded in full. These terms do not limit remedies required by applicable law.

Requesting a refund

Use the online enquiry form with your name, order or enrolment reference, payment date, amount and reason for the request. No payment-card credentials or OTPs are required.

Review and processing times

Our operational target is to review requests within five business days and initiate approved refunds within five business days of approval. Full eligible card refunds will be requested through PayHere. Partial refunds and payment methods that PayHere cannot reverse will be handled by a verified manual bank transfer, as appropriate, with a recorded customer acknowledgement.

Receipt of a refund depends on payment-provider and bank processing. PayHere advises that delayed card refunds may take 5–10 days or longer to appear after processing; this is not an instant-settlement promise.
